How We Use Cookies
1. What Are Cookies?
Small text files your browser saves so a website can remember things between page loads or visits — things like whether you've already dismissed our cookie banner, or what you put in a basket if ordering ever opens. Some are set by us; some are set by third-party services we embed (like an Instagram clip).
Local-storage and sessionStorage entries work the same way as cookies for the purposes of this policy and are listed in the inventory below.
2. Lawful Basis
We rely on two lawful bases under the UK GDPR and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR):
- Strictly necessary cookies — set without consent under PECR Reg. 6(4)(a) because the site cannot function without them.
- All other cookies (analytics, marketing, third-party embeds) — set only with your opt-in consent via the cookie banner you see on first visit.
You can withdraw consent any time using the reset button below — it's as easy to say no as it was to say yes.
3. The Full Inventory
Every key we set, what it's for, who sets it, and how long it sticks around.
Inventory will be re-audited at the start of each quarter. If a third-party embed is added or removed, this table updates within 30 days.
4. Your Controls
You have three independent ways to manage cookies on this site:
a) Reset our consent banner
Clears your saved choice and re-shows the banner so you can decide again:
Change Your Mind?
Reset your cookie choice and the banner will re-appear on next page load. This clears bj-cookies-decided and bj-cookies-analytics.
b) Manage cookies in your browser
You can clear or block all cookies at the browser level. Doing so will sign you out of any site that uses session cookies and will reset your preferences here.
c) Use Do Not Track / Global Privacy Control
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we honour it as a withdrawal of consent for analytics. You don't need to do anything else.
5. Third-Party Embeds
If a page on this site loads an embedded YouTube clip, an Instagram post or a TikTok video, those services may set their own cookies the moment the embed loads. We don't control them — see the relevant policies:
6. Changes To This Policy
If we add a new third-party embed or analytics tool, this page updates within 30 days. The "Last updated" date at the top is the source of truth. Material changes (new tracking categories, change of analytics provider) will trigger a fresh consent banner so your previous choice doesn't carry over silently.
7. Contact
